The wheels on the bus carry first time riders on a safety spin

EAST BROOKFIELD - The doors stood open in welcome, there were puddles to splash in outside, and inside VarneyÕs Garage, the West Main St. home of 45 bright yellow school buses, coffee urns bubbled and munchkins had made an appearance. The garage was a happening place last Wednesday, as children, parents, and friends were invited to spend two hours learning about a momentous occasion in their young lives Ð the first ride on the school bus.
