Tri-Parish Community Church holds chicken dinner

NEW BRAINTREE – The Tri-Parish Community Church held its second-annual chicken dinner at the New Braintree Town Hall on April 24.

Parishioner Debbie Breen cooked the food, served family-style, which included roast chicken, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, peas, carrots and rolls. The dessert, an assortment of cakes and pastries were all home-made by parishioners.

“This is my second year doing this, with help from Beth Caferella, Shawna Andrews, Jeanne Hanson and Barbara Bredthauer among others. We’ve sold close to 100 tickets at $10 per ticket.” Breen said.

The proceeds will benefit the church.
