Brookfield throws party for beloved town clerk

Linda Lincoln, with Selectmen Peter O’Connell and James Allen, at a party given in honor of her retirement. The public was invited to attend and congratulate her on 26 years of service to the town, 22 of them as town clerk. Also present were town clerks from several Massachusetts towns.

Linda Lincoln introduces her mother, Grace Prizio, who recently received the Boston Post Gold-topped cane. “Whenever I needed advice on something, I could go to my mother,” Linda said. She knows everyone in town, and could tell me where they lived, what they did and the names of their children.”
