Cub Scout Pack 128 to hold open house, recruitment

NORTH BROOKFIELD – The Cub Scout Pack 128, sponsored by St. Joseph's Church in North Brookfield welcomes boys who will be in grades one through five next fall with their parents or families to find out more about what the Cub Scout Program has to offer them and their families at the June 5 pack meeting from 1 – 5 p.m. The program will include hiking, geo-caching, games, swimming, a cookout, and campfire. The Cubs will also be having a parent and cub campout that night that, due to insurance coverage, is open to registered scouts only. New cubs that join before June 5 would be eligible to campout with a parent. It will be held at the Elm Hill Center Blanchard Means Estate 26 East Main St. Brookfield (take Slab City Rd from East Brookfield Rd. about 1.5 mi look for the Join Cub Scout signs) on Saturday June 5, from 1 to 5 p.m. for hike, games, swimming, and cookout, 7:30 to 9 p.m. for campfire pack meeting program and marshmallow roast, or attend both.
