Critter’s Second Chance Poker Run to be held Sept. 5

EAST BROOKFIELD - The Critter Second Chance Poker Run will be held on Sunday, Sept. 5. The starting point is at the Knights of Columbus on Rt. 9 in Ware. Registration for the ride is from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Knights of Columbus. The ride is a scenic 63-mile ride beginning and ending at the K of C. (See map on the shelter’s website at www.secondchanceanimals.org). In addition to the ride, there will be a chicken barbecue from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance. The barbecue is also included in the ride tickets. Enjoy the Rob Adams Blues Band Jam from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Musicians are welcome to come and join in. Raffles and a silent auction will be held. All are welcome. Bikes are not necessary to come and enjoy the day.

The rider fee is $20 (includes barbecue) and the passenger fee is $15 (includes barbecue).

The fee for the barbecue only is $15. The event is sponsored by Otto Florist (Floral Elegance of New England, Inc.) and the Mass. Motorcycle Association.
